Movie Club - June 2010

This months movie is the film noir classic "Laura" staring Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, Vincent Price and Clifton Webb. Released in 1944, it is based on the book of the same title. It was nominated for 5 Academy Awards, (Bestr Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Black and White Art Direction and Interior Decoration, Best Adapted Screenplay) and won for Best Black and White Cinematography.  As it is a murder mystery, I dont want to give even a snippet of the plot away here - you will have to watch it with us to find out more !!! :o)
