Hey babe! Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. My blog has been growing so much lately that I'm having trouble keeping up with all of them! So about your question about foundation...I need to know a bit more info. Does your skin feel tight and dry? Does it feel like that everywhere? Very oily t-zone? Easily irritated? Tell me more about you skin and the climate you live in... I know Marylin was a huge fan of pancake makeup, which is why she was able to hide her freckles so well. I really don't like a perfectly matte face everyday, I think a dewy face with freckles peeking out looks beautiful. Save the matte skin for special occasions and photoshoots. Anyway, let me know more about your skin, climate and what sort of coverage you want and I'll do my best! Take care babe!
Alright so these are the foundations I think you should check out... For everyday I'm loving HD Foundation by Makeup Forever. Gives a beautiful air-brushed look without being shiny like mineral makeup.Looks like you have perfect skin. Provides medium coverage. For full coverage, matte makeup MAC studio tech is really nice (I only recommend MAC to women that don't have breakouts. MAC would not be good for blemish prone skin). Makeup Forever also has Pan Cake and Pan Stick. Pan Cake is serious stage makeup that can hide any freckles and be perfectly matte. Pan Stick also has full coverage but a bit more velvety and natural looking. As for lightening your freckles, I wrote a post on just that. It's called "See Spot Go" under the Starlet Skin label.Being that your in Australia and in the middle of Summer, I would suggest waiting 'til Fall to start working on lightening your spots. Right now just concentrate on preventing more sun damage (which is what freckles actually are). Let me know if I can be any more help. Oh and I would love to be one of your interviewees. Sounds fun!
