My home town, and the districts surrounding it, is peppered with beautiful pre mid century architectural gems, and at the moment there are a nice little selection of them up for sale, at extremely reasonable prices ! So, if a tree change is on the agenda for you in 2013, why would you consider Golden Rivers country? Well, here are a few reasons. The area has some great private and public schools, an extremely progressive organic foodie movement happening, it is a resilient and welcoming community with excellent catering to culture and the arts - music, dance, fine art -, sports, education and health care. It is a great place to work as a freelancer, entrepreneur, medical professional, educator, hospitality worker, artist, lawyer, retailer....infact the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
And if a holiday house is more your game, and you love water sports, bushwalking, fishing, or sipping a chai at a cafe, then the tranquility of this area, away from the hustle and bustle of places like Echuca, or Yarrawonga, would suit you down to the ground. With prices like those listed above, what have you got to lose !?
I plan to highlight each of the towns in Golden Rivers Country over the coming months, but I hope you can see the potential in this smattering of residential opportunities in Kerang. Below are a couple of photographs depicting the things my family and I love about living here......happy house hunting my future neighbours !
Fabulous water activities and fun......
Breathtaking sunsets.....
Community Events........
Eating out......
Bushwalking.....
Beautiful promotion of our beautiful communities Sen :)
ReplyDeleteAnd it is people like yourself who make it beautiful Annie....love your work!! We must coffee soon....xoxo
DeleteI so hope you are getting a commission!
ReplyDeleteThey all look wonderful, and so cheap - about half of what we pay here in Mackay, QLD, and much nicer. There are hardly any old homes here due to the cyclone of 1918, and the local's hobbie of tearing down and rebuilding.
I am trying to convince my hubbie to move back to Vic - lawyer jobs you say, I shall look into it!
Wow Deb - would you like me to sus out the situation for you? There have been advertisements for Lawyers in the paper over the last year and the bigger townships of Echuca and Swan Hill are commutable distances away - think of all the coffees and vintage catch ups we could have ! XX
Delete*sigh* It looks like a beautiful place to live, now just to convince the mister for that tree change x
