Art Deco Architecture in Deniliquin and Shepparton
Some snaps of a couple of inspiring Art Deco Buildings in the provincial cities of Deniliquin and Shepparton. Scott and I think we might re-create the Shepparton Court House as our house - it is simply beautiful!
I loved seeing these photos. My great grandfather was the licensee of the original Central Hotel in Deniliquin in the 1800s which was on the same site as this. The red brick building in the photo above it was the Rural Bank when I lived there in the 1960s. It sold for a mere $190,000.00 about 7 years ago. From my teens I always had dreams of buying it one day, alas not to be. Cherry Ripe.
